Elissa Henderson

Elissa Henderson is a highly experienced Human Resources leader with over 13 years’ experience across commercially focused organisations. As Head of People & Culture at Beijer Ref, she oversees a broad portfolio spanning organisational development, industrial relations, work health and safety, payroll, sustainability, and diversity and inclusion.

Throughout her career, Elissa has led HR functions through acquisitions, restructures, and periods of rapid growth. She has implemented national graduate and trainee programs, developed competency and leadership frameworks, and driven diversity and inclusion strategies that create meaningful cultural change.

Elissa is passionate about aligning people strategies with business outcomes, building high-performing teams, and embedding sustainable practices into organisational culture. She holds a Bachelor of Business (with Distinction) from QUT, a Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety, and is an accredited Mental Health First Aid Instructor.
